Biografia del regista
Michael Rittmannsberger è un regista e sceneggiatore che lavora tra Vienna e Berlino. Il suo corto ABGESTEMPELT (Punched) è stato prioettato in novanta festival ed ha vinto venticinque premi tra cui il Best Short Film al Gijón Film Festival in Spagna, ed è stato candidato all’86th Academy Awards. Nel 2015, il suo nuovo cortometraggio THE CULPRIT è stato presentato in anteprima all’Interfilm Berlin e sta girando in diversi festival in tutto il mondo. Michael ha partecipato alla Berlinale Talents, allo Slamdance e ha ottenuto una borsa di studio al Nipkow Programme grazie alla quale sta realizzando il suo primo lungometraggio.

Director’s biography
Michael Rittmannsberger is a writer/director based in Vienna and Berlin. His short film ABGESTEMPELT (Punched) screened at more than 90 film festivals worldwide and won 25 awards including Best Short Film at the Gijón Film Festival in Spain, qualifying PUNCHED for the 86th Academy Awards. In 2015, his new film THE CULPRIT premiered at Interfilm Berlin to great acclaim and is now starting its international festival career. Michael is a Berlinale Talents alumnus, Slamdance participant and Nipkow Programme scholarship holder, where he is currently developing his debut feature project.
