Protagonisti, testimoni e ammiratori raccontano la storia del leggendario gruppo di teatro brasiliano Dzi Croquettes, osteggiatato e censurato dal regime militare, che ha cambiato la storia della cultura pop e gay a partire dagli anni settanta. La regista, il cui padre lavorò con il gruppo, amato da Mick Jagger e Liza Minnelli, cresciuta nei backstage dei teatri, riscopre la sua infanzia facendo luce su uno spaccato inedito della storia del suo paese e della cultura queer.
Main characters, witnesses and fans tell the story of the legendary Brazilian theatre group Dzi Croquettes, opposed and censored by the military regime, which has changed the story of the pop and gay culture at the beginning of the seventies. The director, whose father worked with the group, loved by Mick Jagger and Liza Minnelli, grown up in the backstage of theatres, discovers his childhood again throwing light on an unknown part of the history of his country and of the queer culture.
