Biografia del regista
Sal Bardo esordisce come attore interpretando una barretta di cioccolato alla recita scolastica delle elementari. Da allora ha recitato in diverse pieces teatrali, musical e talent show e ha preso parte alle trasmissioni radiofoniche e televisive della sua scuola in veste di regista, attore e produttore. Ha inoltre studiato musica alla New York University. Nel 2004 ha iniziato a frequentare Herbert Berghof Studio a Manhattan e a lavorare come attore professionista per il cinema e teatro, in particolare per il famoso spettacolo Way to Heaven (Himmelweg) di Juan Mayorga. Nel 2010 ha diretto il suo primo cortometraggio Requited, presentato in anteprima al Seattle International Film Festival e premiato come miglior film al Best First Time Filmmaker at Reel Affirmations: Washington D.C.’s International LGBT Film Festival. I film di Sal sono stati proiettati in oltre 50 festival in 12 paesi. Sal sta attualmente lavorando alla sceneggiatura del suo primo lungometraggio Pink Moon.

Director Biography
Sal Bardo made his directorial debut with the short film “Requited,” for which he won the Audience Award for Best First Time Filmmaker at Reel Affirmations: Washington D.C.’s International LGBT Film Festival. Sal’s films, including the shorts “Sam,” “Chaser,” and “Pink Moon,” have screened at festivals around the world and have been viewed over 10 million times on YouTube and Vimeo. “Pink Moon” won the Jury Prize for Best Short Film at the Big Apple Film Festival. Sal lives and works in New York City.
